Saturday 28th February - walk ** – Around Felixstowe – mainly cloudy with some drizzle.

We had a locksmith coming round to mend our back door so I got up fairly early and had a drive round to take some pics to send to the TV weather! I started off parking near the Spa theatre to watch the park runners head to the Fludyers just as a shower arrived, I then continued down to Felixstowe Ferry hoping for a few golfers with there umbrellas up, my best pic was of a container ship and a ferry passing behind the Martello tower:) Home for breakfast and sort out my pics, the lovely man came to fix our back door while Mag did some major work in the garden. I then had a bowl of soup before going out the front to fit the new roof rack in readiness for our up and coming trip to the mountains. Mag and I then walked down to Lidl to check they have bark chips, we wi;; buy several bags tomorrow! We continued through Langer Park leading to Felixstowe prom near the regal, the morning fresh breeze had dropped and it was quite pleasant. A circuit of the pier stopping briefly to watch the world go by and onto Bent Hill, through the town and home via the libruary where I got a copy of the latest Spotlight magazine as I am on the cover:) Looking breezy again tomorrow and being the first day of Spring I hoe to get on the water for a windsurf foil despite some rain forecast, not overly warm either!
We got some lovely pics of maeva at a Princess Birthday party in a brilliant Fairy dress:)
